Hellebores are such resilient flowers. At first glance their petals may appear delicate but the ones in our garden have survived wid, rain and snow! They flower for months, from the darkest, coldest days of December to April, when they gradually give way to the brighter flowers of spring.

I enjoy drawing them and couldn't resist making them part of my 'Winter Edit' greeting card collection.
