{"id":4305,"date":"2026-06-18T15:57:27","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T15:57:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/freshmadedesigns.co.uk\/?page_id=4305"},"modified":"2026-06-19T17:27:42","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T17:27:42","slug":"anemone","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/freshmadedesigns.co.uk\/index.php\/anemone\/","title":{"rendered":"Anemone"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>\n\t\t\tAnemone\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>I love anemones, from the delicate flowers of Anemone Blanda which appear early spring around the base of our almond tree, to the much taller Japanese Anemone which give our borders some welcome colour late season.<\/p>\n<p>And then there&#8217;s Anemone de Caen, \u00a0a short-lived but vibrant flower &#8211; the sort that seems to shout &#8216;look at me!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Inspiration arrives in lots of ways and a visit to a National Trust property with a close friend, and dropping into a garden centre on the way home gave me the chance to snap some photos of these wonderfully bright flowers.<\/p>\n<p>I launched &#8220;Anemone de Caen&#8221; at the Horsham Artists Art Trail and was really pleased with the enthusiastic feedback for this bold print.
