Its flowers are individually small, but a gorgeous pale soft yellow and it flowers prolifically from early summer to late autumn.<\/p>\n<p>In mid summer it needs regular dead-heading and on one of these occasions an accidental snip too far took off a whole stem of rosebuds. Too pretty to consign to the compost immediately I brought them inside and put them in a little vase. That turned into a sketching opportunity&#8230;which turned into a fabric design&#8230;. which then turned into a luxurious velvet cushion with a toning back in bright green.
